Marriage Ceremony Booking
Welcome to the West Northamptonshire Registration Service ceremony booking system.
Thank you for choosing to book your event with West Northamptonshire.
We have multiple different ways you can legally marry or form a civil partnership with us. To see the associated fees for the different options below please follow the link – Ceremony fees
Please be advised to secure your booking you will need to pay the full fee upfront at the end of the booking process so please ensure you have a card ready to make payment.
- Marriage or Civil Partnership Registration
This is a basic legal marriage or civil partnership registration held in the Registrar’s office for the couple and two witnesses only and has no ceremonial content.
- Ceremony Room at Registry Office
This is for ceremonies held within The Ceremony Room at the Guildhall and Civic Room within Towcester Forum. Room hire is included in this booking.
(Please note: any other rooms in the Guildhall will require a booking directly with the Guildhall and are booked via the approved premise option below).
- Ceremony at an Approved Premise
This is for registrar attendance at an approved premise within West Northamptonshire. A separate booking with the venue will be required. Please ensure you have made enquiries with your chosen venue before continuing.
PLEASE NOTE: You must give a legal notice of marriage/civil partnership no less than 29 days prior to your booking date.
In some circumstances for Non - EEA Nationals this can be extended to 70 days. In exceptional circumstances such as one of the couple being seriously ill please email us at registrationservice.ncc@westnorthants.gov.uk to seek further advice.
If you are a Foreign National with no EUSS settled or Pre - Settled Status citizen you will not be able to make a booking please email us directly at registrationservice.ncc@westnorthants.gov.uk
